Clean the analog stick area with compressed air
Gently move the stick in all directions while spraying
Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol around the stick base
Let the controller dry completely before using it
Reset the PS5 controller using the small reset button on the back
Reconnect the controller to the PS5 with a USB cable
Update the controller firmware through the PS5 system settings
Check and adjust the controller deadzone settings in games that allow it
Test the controller on another game or console to confirm the issue
Remove any debris, dust, or grime around the analog stick
Avoid using excessive force on the stick
Replace the analog stick module if the drift continues
Contact Sony support if the controller is still under warranty
