Restart your PS5 and router
Use a wired Ethernet connection
Set a static IP address for your PS5
Enable UPnP on your router
Forward the required PlayStation Network ports on your router
Set the PS5 DNS manually to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 or 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
Place the PS5 in the router’s DMZ
Avoid double NAT by using only one router or putting the ISP modem in bridge mode
Check that NAT Type changes in PS5 network settings after each change
Contact your internet provider if the router settings are locked or NAT remains strict
