Clean the analog stick area with compressed air
Gently rotate the stick while blowing air around the base
Use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol around the stick base
Move the stick in all directions while cleaning
Let the controller dry completely before using it
Reset the PS5 controller using the small reset button on the back
Re-pair the controller to the PS5 with a USB cable
Update the controller firmware through the PS5 system settings
Reduce deadzone settings in supported games
Check for debris or dust under the stick cap
Avoid using excessive force on the analog sticks
Replace the analog stick module if cleaning does not help
Contact Sony support if the controller is under warranty
Replace the controller if the drift persists after repair attempts
