Remove the cover gradually once seedlings emerge
Transplant seedlings into individual pots when they are large enough to handle
Use pots with drainage holes and a well-draining soil mix
Move plants to larger containers as they grow
Provide a sturdy support or trellis for climbing
Give the plants plenty of sunlight once established
Water when the top layer of soil dries out
Feed occasionally with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season
Protect plants from frost and cold temperatures
