Choose healthy saffron corms from a reliable source
Use a pot with drainage holes
Fill the pot with well-draining sandy or loamy soil
Plant the corms 3 to 4 inches deep
Keep the pointed end facing upward
Space the corms a few inches apart
Place the pot in full sun
Water lightly after planting
Avoid overwatering
