How to Grow Pineapples?
Choose a warm, sunny location with well-draining soil
Use a healthy pineapple crown, slip, or sucker for planting
Remove the lower leaves from the crown
Let the crown dry for 1 to 2 days before planting
Plant the crown in loose, sandy, slightly acidic soil
Keep the plant in full sun for at least 6 hours daily
Water lightly and allow the soil to dry between waterings
Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot
Apply a balanced fertilizer every 6 to 8 weeks during growth
Keep weeds away from the plant
Protect the plant from frost and cold temperatures
Wait about 18 to 24 months for fruit to develop
Harvest when the fruit turns yellow and smells sweet
