Gather ripe lumboy fruits
Wash the fruits thoroughly
Remove stems and debris
Boil water in a clean pot
Blanch the fruits briefly
Drain and cool the fruits
Mash or press the fruits to extract juice
Strain the juice to remove seeds and pulp
Add organic sugar or muscovado
Stir until fully dissolved
Add organic sticky rice flour or tapioca starch if needed for thickness
Cook the mixture over low heat
Stir continuously until sticky and glossy
Add a pinch of salt if desired
Cool slightly before shaping or serving
Store in a clean airtight container
Keep refrigerated if not used immediately
