Choose a sunny location with well-draining soil
Prepare the soil by loosening it and removing weeds
Sow zinnia seeds after the last frost
Plant seeds about 1/4 inch deep
Space seeds according to the variety, usually 6 to 12 inches apart

Water at the base of the plants as they grow
