Measure the window width and decide the rod placement
Mark the bracket locations on the wall
Use a level to keep the marks even
Check for wall studs or use appropriate wall anchors
Drill pilot holes if needed
Attach the brackets securely to the wall
Insert the drapery rod into the brackets
Hang the drapes on the rod
Place the rod onto the brackets and secure it
Adjust the drapes so they hang evenly
