Turn off the Xbox One completely
Unplug the power cord from the console
Wait at least 10 seconds
Plug the power cord back in
Turn the console back on
If needed, press and hold the Xbox power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down, then turn it back on
To factory reset, press the Xbox button on the controller
Go to Profile & system
Select Settings
Select System
Select Console info
Select Reset console
Choose Reset and keep my games & apps or Reset and remove everything
