LinkedIn does not offer a “hibernate” option for accounts
To temporarily stop using LinkedIn, you can deactivate your account by closing it
Sign in to your LinkedIn account
Click your profile picture or Me icon
Go to Settings & Privacy
Open Account preferences
Select Account management
Click Close account
Choose a reason for closing the account
Confirm your password if prompted
Submit the closure request
If you want to return later, you must reopen or create a new account depending on LinkedIn’s options and account status
