Cut a rectangular strip of paper
Fold the strip lengthwise down the middle
Cut the top end into two equal blades, leaving a small center stem
Fold one blade forward
Fold the other blade backward
Fold the bottom part of the stem upward to create a weight
Open the blades slightly
Drop the paper helicopter from a height and let it spin
