Open your design in Canva
Select the text you want to highlight
Click the Effects button in the top toolbar
Choose the Background effect
Adjust the background color to your preferred highlight color
Use the sliders to change the size and roundness of the highlight
Fine-tune the transparency if needed
Click outside the text box to apply the changes
