Wash your hands thoroughly
Remove the suppository from its packaging
Lie down on your back with knees bent, or stand with one leg raised
Gently separate the labia
Insert the suppository into the vagina using a clean finger or applicator
Push it in as far as is comfortable
Remain lying down for a few minutes if possible
Use a panty liner to catch any leakage
Wash your hands again after insertion
Insert only as directed by your healthcare provider or product label
