How To Install A Kitchen Sink?

Turn off the water supply

Disconnect the old sink, faucet, and drain lines

Remove the old sink and clean the countertop opening

Check that the new sink fits the opening

Install the faucet and any accessories on the new sink

Apply plumber’s putty or silicone sealant as required

Place the sink into the opening

Secure the sink with mounting clips or brackets

Reconnect the drain assembly and P-trap

Reconnect the water supply lines

Turn the water supply back on

Check for leaks at all connections

Seal the edges if needed

Test the faucet and drain operation
