Download the EDSIM51 setup file from a trusted source
Right-click the setup file and select Properties
Check Unblock if it appears, then click Apply
Right-click the setup file and select Run as administrator
Follow the installation prompts and complete the setup
If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info, then Run anyway
If the installer does not start, enable compatibility mode
Right-click the setup file and select Properties
Open the Compatibility tab
Check Run this program in compatibility mode for
Select Windows XP or Windows 7
Check Run this program as an administrator
Click Apply, then OK
Run the installer again
After installation, open EDSIM51 from the Start menu or desktop shortcut
If the program does not open, install any required 16-bit support or virtualization tool
If needed, run EDSIM51 inside a virtual machine with an older Windows version
Restart the PC if prompted during or after installation
