Download the OptiFine installer from the official OptiFine website
Make sure Minecraft Java Edition is installed
Run the downloaded OptiFine .jar file
If the file does not open, install Java
Click Install in the OptiFine installer
Wait for the installation to finish
Open the Minecraft Launcher
Select the OptiFine profile
Click Play
In Minecraft, go to Options
Open Video Settings to confirm OptiFine is installed
