Use the Amazon Appstore to install approved apps.
Enable apps from unknown sources only for legitimate sideloading of apps you trust and have the rights to use.
Go to Settings.
Select My Fire TV.
Select Developer Options.
Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources if needed.
Turn on ADB Debugging only if required for a legitimate development or testing task.
Install the Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore if you need to sideload a trusted app.
Download apps only from official developer sources.
Keep your Fire TV software updated.
Use a VPN only if permitted by your local laws and service terms.
Reset the device from Settings if you want to remove installed apps and settings.
