How To Knead Bread?

Lightly flour your work surface

Fold the dough back over itself

Rotate the dough a quarter turn

Repeat the push, fold, and turn motion

Add small amounts of flour only if the dough is too sticky

Continue kneading until the dough becomes smooth and elastic

Test the dough by stretching a small piece gently

Stop kneading when the dough springs back and feels supple
