Severe trouble breathing or gasping for air
Collapse or inability to stand
Unresponsiveness or extreme weakness
No interest in food, water, or surroundings
Pale, blue, or gray gums
Loss of bladder or bowel control
Repeated vomiting or diarrhea, especially with blood
Seizures or uncontrolled shaking
Extreme pain, crying, or restlessness
Very low body temperature or cold extremities
Rapid decline over hours or days
Inability to move, swallow, or lift the head
Labored, irregular, or very slow breathing
A glazed, unfocused, or vacant look
Seeking isolation or hiding
Not reacting to touch, voice, or familiar people
Sudden confusion or disorientation
Signs of dehydration, such as dry gums and sunken eyes
Swollen abdomen or obvious bloating
