Turn off the sewing machine
Open the bobbin cover or bobbin compartment
Remove the bobbin case if your machine uses one
Place the bobbin into the bobbin case or compartment in the correct direction
Pull the thread through the slot or tension spring as required
Leave a short tail of thread
Insert the bobbin case back into the machine if needed
Close the bobbin cover
Turn the handwheel to bring up the bobbin thread
Pull both top and bobbin threads under the presser foot and to the back of the machine
