Turn off the sewing machine
Raise the needle to its highest position
Lift the presser foot
Open the bobbin cover or remove the bobbin case cover
Insert the bobbin so the thread unwinds in the correct direction for your model
Pull the thread through the bobbin tension slot or guide
Leave a short thread tail
Hold the bobbin case if required and insert it into the machine
Close the bobbin cover
Turn the handwheel to bring up the bobbin thread
Pull both threads under the presser foot and toward the back of the machine
