Use Face ID or Touch ID to lock supported apps
Open the app
Press and hold the app icon on the Home Screen
Tap Require Face ID or Require Touch ID if available
Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode
Use Screen Time to restrict app access
Open Settings
Tap Screen Time
Tap App Limits
Tap Add Limit
Select the app category or specific app
Tap Next
Set the time limit
Turn on Block at End of Limit
Tap Add
Use Guided Access to lock the iPhone to one app
Open Settings
Tap Accessibility
Tap Guided Access
Turn on Guided Access
Set a passcode
Open the app you want to lock
Triple-click the Side button or Home button
Tap Start
Use app-specific lock features if the app provides them
Open the app settings
Turn on app lock, passcode lock, or biometric lock
Use third-party app lockers only if supported by the app or device settings
Lock the entire iPhone with a strong passcode and Face ID or Touch ID
Go to Settings
Tap Face ID & Passcode or Touch ID & Passcode
Set a strong passcode
Turn on Face ID or Touch ID
