Connect your device to the Netgear router’s Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet cable
Open a web browser
Enter the router’s IP address in the address bar
Common Netgear IP addresses: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
Press Enter
Enter the router username and password
Common default username: admin
Common default password: password
Click Log In or Sign In
If the default login does not work, check the router label for the correct credentials
If you changed the password and forgot it, reset the router to factory settings
