Cut a piece of ribbon (about 24–36 in / 60–90 cm long, depending on desired bow size)
Fold the ribbon in half and pinch the center to find the middle
Make two loops by crossing the ends over the center (left loop over right or right over left)
Adjust the loops so they are even and symmetrical
Wrap a thin piece of ribbon or twist-tie around the center to secure the loops
Tie a knot at the center if using a ribbon strip (or twist the tie tightly if using a tie)
Trim the ends at a diagonal or V-shape
Optional: Fluff and shape the loops by pulling gently on each side
Optional: If the ribbon frays, carefully seal cut ends (heat-seal for synthetic ribbons or clear glue for others)
