Cut a strip of fabric to the desired bow tie size
Fold the fabric lengthwise with the right sides together
Sew along the long edge and one short edge
Turn the tube right side out
Press the fabric flat with an iron
Fold the fabric into a bow shape
Wrap the center with a small fabric strip
Sew or glue the center wrap in place
Attach an adjustable neck band or elastic strap
Secure the bow tie to the band with stitching or glue
