Brush hair to remove tangles
Gather hair into a high, mid, or low ponytail
Hold the ponytail tightly with one hand
Twist the ponytail until it coils
Wrap the twisted hair around the base to form a bun
Tuck the ends under the bun
Secure the bun with a hair tie, bobby pins, or both
Smooth any loose strands with a brush or fingers
Spray with hairspray if needed
