Gather tools and supplies
Cut the side panels, top, bottom, shelves, back, and doors
Sand all cut edges and surfaces
Mark the locations for shelves, joints, and hardware
Drill pilot holes for screws and shelf pins
Assemble the cabinet box with glue and screws
Attach the back panel
Install the shelves
Build and attach the doors
Attach hinges, handles, and any other hardware
Fill holes and sand again if needed
Apply paint, stain, or finish
Let the finish dry completely
Install the cabinet in place
