Gather cardboard, scissors, glue, a pencil, a ruler, a marker, a paper fastener, and paper strips or cardboard strips for the hands
Cut a large circle from the cardboard
Cut a smaller circle or square for the center if needed
Mark the center of the circle
Draw the numbers 1 to 12 evenly around the edge
Cut two or three clock hands from cardboard
Make a small hole in the center of the clock face
Make matching holes in the clock hands
Attach the hands to the center with a paper fastener
Rotate the hands to check that they move freely
Decorate the clock face if desired
Hang or display the cardboard clock
