Select a semi-permanent hair dye or color pigment suitable for mixing
Put on gloves and protect your work surface
Add a small amount of dye to the conditioner
Mix thoroughly until the color is even
Test the shade on a small strand or a hidden section
Adjust by adding more dye for a stronger color or more conditioner for a lighter color
Store the mixture in a clean, sealed container
Apply to clean, damp hair
Leave on for the desired time according to the dye instructions
Rinse thoroughly with cool water
