Cut a length of ribbon

Roll the folded end tightly
Twist or fold the ribbon as you continue wrapping around the center
Keep shaping each layer to look like rose petals
Secure the base with thread, glue, or wire
Trim any excess ribbon
Fluff and adjust the petals to finish the rose
