Open Excel and enter your data in two columns
Put the independent variable in the first column
Put the dependent variable in the second column
Select the data range
Go to the Insert tab
Click Scatter or X Y Scatter
Choose the scatter chart style you want
Add chart title, axis titles, and labels if needed
Format the chart if desired
Save your workbook
