Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of finely ground Vietnamese coffee to a phin filter
Gently shake to level the grounds
Place the filter press on top and press down lightly
Pour a small amount of hot water over the grounds to bloom them
Wait about 30 seconds
Fill the phin with hot water
Let the coffee drip slowly into a cup
Add 2 to 4 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk to a glass
Pour the brewed coffee over the condensed milk
Stir well
Serve hot or pour over ice
