How To Make Aioli?

1 egg yolk

1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 to 3/4 cup olive oil

Optional: 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Whisk the egg yolk, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and Dijon mustard if using

Add the olive oil very slowly while whisking constantly

Continue whisking until thick and creamy

Adjust with more lemon juice or salt if needed

Serve immediately or chill until ready to use
