Open Gmail and sign in
Click the Google Apps icon
Open Google Contacts
Click Create label
Enter a name for the group
Click Save
Select the contacts you want in the group
Click the Labels icon
Choose the label you created
Click Apply
In Gmail, click Compose
Type the label name in the To field to email the group
