Gather beads, earring hooks, head pins or eye pins, jump rings, pliers, wire cutters, and bead mat
Choose a bead design and color combination
Arrange beads in the desired pattern
Slide beads onto a head pin or eye pin
Leave a small gap above the top bead
Bend the wire at a right angle above the beads
Trim excess wire if needed
Use round-nose pliers to form a loop at the top
Close the loop securely
Attach the beaded piece to a jump ring or directly to an earring hook
Open the jump ring with pliers if using one
Connect the beaded piece to the earring hook
Close the jump ring securely
Repeat for the second earring
Check both earrings for symmetry and secure closures
