Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
Add noodles and cook until tender
Reserve a small amount of pasta water
Drain the noodles
Return the noodles to the pot
Add butter
Toss until the butter melts and coats the noodles
Add a little reserved pasta water if needed
Season with salt and pepper
Serve immediately
