How To Make Dry Yogurt?

Use thick plain yogurt or Greek yogurt

Line a strainer with cheesecloth or a clean thin cloth

Place the strainer over a bowl

Pour the yogurt into the lined strainer

Cover and refrigerate

Let it drain for 4 to 24 hours, depending on how dry you want it

Remove the drained yogurt from the cloth

Spread it on a clean tray or plate

Dry it further in a dehydrator at low temperature or in an oven on the lowest setting

Stir or break it up occasionally while drying

Stop when it becomes fully dry and crumbly

Store in an airtight container

Keep in a cool, dry place or refrigerate if needed
