How To Make Fajitas?

Gather ingredients: tortillas, bell peppers, onions, fajita seasoning, oil, salt, pepper, lime, cilantro (optional)

Choose protein: chicken, steak, shrimp, or a mix

Slice protein into thin strips (or cut shrimp if using)

Slice bell peppers and onions into thin strips

Make fajita seasoning mix (or use store-bought): chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, optional cayenne

Marinate protein: toss with oil, fajita seasoning, and lime juice; rest 15–30 minutes

Heat a large skillet or griddle over high heat

Add a little oil, then cook protein until browned and cooked through

Remove protein and set aside

Add peppers and onions to the same pan; cook until crisp-tender and slightly charred

Return protein to the pan and toss to coat with juices and seasoning

Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave

Assemble: add protein and peppers/onions to tortillas

Finish with lime juice and cilantro (optional)
