Go to the Gmail sign-up page
Click “Create account”
Choose “For my personal use”
Fill in your name, username, and password
Click “Next”
Leave the phone number field blank if the option is available
Enter a recovery email if you want
Fill in your birth date and gender
Complete the verification step
Accept the Google Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Finish creating the account
If phone verification is required, try again later or from a different device or network
Use a recovery email instead of a phone number when possible
