Mix 3/4 cup whole milk with 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
Whisk until fully combined
Chill before using
Use immediately as a heavy cream substitute
For a thicker substitute, blend 2/3 cup whole milk with 1/3 cup heavy butter or cream cheese
For whipping, use 2/3 cup whole milk with 1/3 cup melted butter and 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Whisk again before each use
Replace heavy cream in recipes at a 1:1 ratio when possible
