How To Make Homemade Chicken Nuggets?

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

2 cups breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 cup milk

Oil for frying or cooking spray for baking

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces

Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and onion powder

Set up three bowls

Put flour in the first bowl

Whisk eggs and milk in the second bowl

Put breadcrumbs in the third bowl

Coat each chicken piece in flour

Dip each piece in the egg mixture

Coat each piece in breadcrumbs

Press breadcrumbs onto chicken to help them stick

Heat oil in a pan or preheat oven to 400°F

Fry nuggets until golden brown and cooked through

Or bake nuggets on a greased baking sheet for 15 to 20 minutes

Flip halfway through baking if using the oven

Check that the chicken reaches 165°F internally

Serve warm with dipping sauce
