Use a clean hookah base, stem, hose, bowl, grommets, and tongs
Fill the base with cold water until the stem is submerged about 1 to 1.5 inches
Insert the stem securely into the base
Attach the hose to the hose port
Pack flavored hookah tobacco loosely into the bowl
Leave space between the tobacco and the foil or heat management device
Cover the bowl tightly with heavy-duty foil or use a heat management device
Poke small holes in the foil if using foil
Place lit natural charcoal on top of the foil or heat management device
Let the hookah warm up for a minute or two
Inhale gently through the hose
Add more charcoal as needed
Clean all parts after use
