How To Make Kefir?

Get kefir grains and milk

Put the kefir grains into a clean glass jar

Add milk to the jar

Cover the jar loosely with a cloth or lid

Leave it at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours

Check for thickening and tangy smell

Strain out the kefir grains

Save the grains for the next batch

Drink the kefir or refrigerate it

Repeat with fresh milk
