How To Make Kettle Corn?

Heat a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat

Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil

Add 3 to 4 popcorn kernels and cover the pot

When the test kernels pop, add 1/2 cup popcorn kernels and 1/4 cup sugar

Stir quickly to coat the kernels

Cover the pot, leaving the lid slightly ajar

Shake the pot constantly while the popcorn pops

Remove from heat when popping slows to 2 to 3 seconds between pops

Immediately transfer the kettle corn to a large bowl

Sprinkle with a little salt

Toss to combine

Let cool before serving
