Wash the lemons
Roll the lemons on a countertop to loosen the juice
Cut the lemons in half
Squeeze the lemons to extract the juice
Remove seeds
Add the lemon juice to a pitcher
Add cold water
Add sugar to taste
Stir until the sugar dissolves
Taste and adjust sweetness or water as needed
Add ice if desired
Serve chilled
