Whisk until smooth and frothy
Heat 1 cup of milk or milk alternative
Sweeten the milk if desired with sugar, honey, or syrup
Pour the matcha mixture into a mug
Add the warm milk
Stir gently to combine
Top with extra foam if desired
Serve immediately
