Open Microsoft Word
Click File
Click Account or Office Account
Under Office Theme, select White or Colorful
If needed, click File
Click Options
Click General
Under Personalize your copy of Microsoft Office, set Office Theme to White or Colorful
Click OK
To change the document page to light mode, click View
Select Print Layout if needed
Ensure dark mode for the document canvas is turned off
If using Windows dark mode, open Windows Settings
Click Personalization
Click Colors
Set Choose your mode to Light
Restart Word if needed
