You cannot safely make a period end immediately
Use a heating pad or warm bath to ease cramps
Stay hydrated
Get light exercise if you feel up to it
Rest and sleep enough
Use period products that keep you comfortable
Consider hormonal birth control to shorten or regulate periods, if appropriate for you and prescribed by a clinician
Ask a doctor about medications that may reduce bleeding, such as NSAIDs, if safe for you
See a doctor if your bleeding is very heavy, lasts longer than usual, or is causing dizziness, weakness, or severe pain
