Select the object in Build/Buy mode
Press and hold Shift + ]
Press Shift + ] again to keep making it bigger
On Mac, use Shift + ]
If that does not work, check your keyboard layout and key bindings
Enable cheats with Ctrl + Shift + C
Type testingcheats true and press Enter
Use the object resize shortcut only in Build/Buy mode
Note that some objects may not resize properly
